i have some piano annoyances, and i'm going to name them off right now:
1. if you aren't good at the piano, please, please, please DO NOT try to show off. here's a novel idea, if there is a piano in the room, you don't have to play it. also, playing "don't stop believing" on repeat in front of all of your friends is not getting you anywhere. when you can play concerto no. 2 by rachmaninoff, then you can come talk to me.
2. if you're mormon, don't feel super proud of yourself because you can play waterfall. it's practically a requirement for mormonism. everyone can play waterfall. i played it flawlessly at age 10.
3. 100 years by Five for Fighting is not a difficult song and being able to play it doesn't make you a piano genius. it actually just makes everyone around you hate you and that song.
4. stop trying to play something fast because you think that it will make you sound more talented. you're messing up every 5 seconds and starting over time and time again just makes you sound dumb.
5. 1000 miles is also one of those songs that makes me want to kill someone.
6. in short, if you can't play anything classical, can't read music, or have the same 3 songs (all pop songs on the radio) in your arsenal at all times, you really aren't that good at the piano, and you annoy me.
