burning up

this weekend was great. not only did i get to help my grandma out with some family history, but i also got to go boating and SUCCEED! huzzah! this has never happened you guys.

do we all have severe whip lash from this tubing trip? yes. do we care? no. was it worth it? absolutely. 

first-a-all...look at me! i'm surfing!!!! second, look at my face. i'm still so proud. :)

the trip was so good. it was really nice to have a weekend off from homework and school, even though i'm definitely paying for it now in two ways: 

1. i have homework out the wazoo and just can't get motivated enough to do it.

2. (and most important) i have THE MOST INTENSE sunburn that i have ever gotten. gaze:

gaze at the michael phelps poster as well. i might or might not be excited about the summer olympics. also, i just want to point out that there is a nice picture of Christ right next to that one right behind my head. i'm righteous.

this picture doesn't even do it justice. this sunburn is bad. it's blistering. wearing a backpack around campus in the sun is torture. and sleeping? forget it. aloe vera and cold washcloths are my best friend. so, to everyone that i talk to/see today, please, please, PLEASE do not tell me how bad my sunburn is. I KNOW! also, i know i'm adorable, but don't hug me. it just hurts too much. please wait until next week.
